N.A.W.S. - Naxos Animals Welfare Society 

Our society is made up of a group of people who care 
about the welfare of stray and badly treated animals on Naxos. 
We formed a society because the efforts of individuals 
were not enough to solve all the problems. 

Together, as a group, we hope that we can do better for animals. 
In the same way, as a society, we can co-operate with other 
animal welfare societies and with their help, improve our help for strays. 

As a newly re-formed group of enthusiastic animal lovers, 
we have many concerns about the welfare of stray and owned, 
abused animals on our island. 
Each of us has our own story to tell and a history of caring 
for and taking in street animals, which is why we need to come together. 

In the meantime, with the help of Naxos veterinarians, we offer: 
• First aid to sick or beaten animals 
• Vaccination for strays 
• Sterilizations
